Kent Invicta Charity is a new force for good in Kent.

£500 will kit out a Kent child with much needed school uniforms and winter clothing, providing help to attend out of school activities which households living on low incomes just can’t afford.

£1000 will enable us to get fundraising activities going, helping us to raise much more.

£5000 will set up our income-generating lottery, enabling individuals to contribute, spreading awareness andunderstanding at the same time.

Kent Invicta Charity knows that more than 40000 children and young people in Kent live in poor households.

There are communities and areas which face social problems and deprivation which are amongst the most

difficult anywhere in the country.

Kent Invicta Charity, with its growing links in the business and social care worlds, dedicates all that it does to giving our young people every chance and opportunity to succeed.

Royal Cinque Ports Golf Club
5 July 2012

Kent Invicta Charity announces its golf challenge event at the prestigious Royal Cinque Ports Golf Club, near Deal in Kent on 5 July 2012.

Whilst Scotland is regarded as the home of golf, the seven mile strip of wonderful links land along the east Kent coast joins Lancashire as the only other area in England which has staged the Open Championship.

The Royal Cinque Ports Golf Club is traditionally laid out on a narrow stretch of land extending to Sandwich Bay, with views over the Channel towards France. The natural links terrain has been subtly used to provide a wide variety of challenges. On almost every hole there is an abundance of large sand dunes which establishes the undulating character of the course and makes it unique. Unlike most other courses the fairways are just as undulating and it is seldom that a completely flat stance can be obtained other than on the tees. As with all traditional seaside links, the wind is a major factor which has to be taken into account when deciding on club and shot selection.

This is your golfing challenge! To participate in a 4-ball team for the Kent Invicta Charity Trophy at one of the country’s finest golf venues. Your support with taking a team (or two!) will give you and your guests one of the most memorable days they will experience this year.

“All the proceeds will go the Kent Invicta Charity, in support of its work with children and young people in Kent. I look forward to welcoming sponsors, supporters and guests to what will be a special sporting occasion.” Kevin Dougall, from Priory Land and chairman of the charity.
